Here's some information about the film:

Directed by Charles Guggenheim (JOHNSTOWN FLOOD,
ROBERT KENNEDY REMEMBERED, A TIME FOR JUSTICE)
Produced by Grace Guggenheim

“World War II. My company...I can remember their
faces just like yesterday. They went overseas and I
didn’t, and some of them didn’t come back. I’ve been
thinking about it for 50 years, wonderwing why it
didn’t happen to me. That’s why I had to tell this
story.” --Charles Guggenheim

BERGA: SOLDIERS OF ANOTHER WAR is the story of
American GIs who worked as slave laborers in Berga am
Elster, a satellite concentration camp of the
notorious Nazi death camp Buchenwald. Captured by
German forces during the 1944 Battle of the Bulge,
these soldiers had been singled out as suspected Jews.
During the three months of their captivity, 20% of
them would die from malnutrition, disease, and
physical abuse. Once liberated by Allied troops in
1945, their story was largely forgotten. Until now.

Capturing the Friedmans
SHOW DATE: 6/8
SPEAKER(S): Richard Chisolm

Here's some information about the film:

a film of which Michael Atkinson of VILLAGE VOICE
comments
"It's difficult to imagine another doc having such
extraordinary material at its disposal, or another
filmed family being as spellbinding."

Directed by Arnold Jarecki

On the surface, the Friedmans were a typical 1980s
American family. Living in Great Neck, Long Island,
Arnold was a well-respected teacher, Elaine was a
dedicated mother, and their children Seth, Jesse, and
David were model students. But one Thanksgiving, that
happy façade came to a crashing halt.
